Bidet Popularity

Bidets are common bathroom fixtures in East Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Hybrid bidet toilet seats are widespread in urban regions of highly developed eastern Asian countries, and are commonly found in hotels, and homes. In the metropolitan districts of Japan, and South Korea, most private homes have a bidet.

The use of a bidet does not replace bathing or showering; bidet users bathe and shower regularly. A person unfamiliar with the use of a bidet may feel awkward or even afraid to use one. People from all around the globe have been using the bidet for many years. Bidets are far more hygienic and much less irritating than repeated wiping with  paper. Veteran users of the bidet report feeling unclean and uncomfortable after using a bathroom without a bidet installation.  Residents of countries in which bidets are uncommon in private homes (such as the United States) may not be familiar with the proper use a bidet. If you cannot afford to install an advanced hybrid model with all the fancy features, there are various less costly bidet units that can be attached to a regular toilet.
